Deposit ATM FAQ
A: Checks submitted through Mobile Deposit will be subject to USCCU’s funds availability policy.
A: Checks made payable to you and drawn on a bank within the United States can be deposited at a USCCU Deposit ATM. Some business size checks (the long ones) might not work.
The following examples are types of checks or items which cannot be deposited at a USCCU Deposit ATM:

Travelers checks

Savings bonds
-
Foreign checks (not drawn on a U.S. bank) or checks not payable in U.S. currency

Checks payable to you and another party, unless deposited into an account in the name of all payees

Checks payable to any person other than you (the account owner/joint owner)

Checks that have been altered
-
Checks prohibited in violation of any law, rule or regulation

Checks you know or suspect, or should know or suspect, is fraudulent or otherwise not authorized by the owner of the account on which the Check is drawn

Checks that have been previously endorsed by a bank and are either “substitute checks” (as defined in Reg CC or other applicable federal law or regulation) or “image replacement documents” that purport to be substitute check

Checks drawn on financial institutions that are located outside of the United States or Territories of the United States

Checks which are not acceptable to us for deposit into a deposit account as provided in the Membership and Account Agreement, which is incorporated by reference and made a part here of

Checks that are remotely created checks, as defined in Reg CC

Checks dated more than 6 months prior to the date of deposit

Checks or items prohibited by Credit Union’s current procedures relating to the services or which are otherwise not acceptable under the terms of your Credit Union account

Checks payable on sight or payable through Drafts, as defined in Reg CC.

Checks with any endorsement on the back other than that specified in this agreement

Checks that are prohibited by the Credit Union’s current Membership Agreement with you

Any check requiring signature and/or additional identification

Checks that require an additional verification code to be written on the check

A: Funds from any deposits (cash or checks) made at automated teller machines (ATMs) or night depositories we own or operate will be available on the same day we receive your deposit. If you make a deposit before the 1:00 p.m. on a business day we are open, we will consider that day to be the day of your deposit. However, if you make a deposit after 1:00 p.m. or on a day we are not open, we will consider the deposit was made on the next business day we are open.
A: USCCU Deposit ATM limits are:
Consumer and Commercial Deposits
– $2,500 per day deposit limit
– No limit on check deposits per day
– No per month deposit limit
These limits are based upon several criteria, including how long you’ve had an account with USCCU and your relationship with the credit union. All limits are subject to change. If you would like to request an increase in your daily deposit limit; please call 615-256-8712.
