US Community Credit Union Valued Members,
Management staff is continually monitoring the evolving circumstances related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). As the virus continues to impact the world, I wanted to personally share with you USCCU’s additional efforts to protect our members and employees. Your health and safety, as well as that of our US Community Credit Union employees is our top priority. We are taking all necessary actions to ensure our branches remain open and our call center remains adequately staffed to serve your financial needs.
In addition to our already rigorous standards of cleaning and sanitizing we have in place at each USCCU branch location, our school branches, and throughout our administrative building, we have elevated our efforts in response to this infectious disease. We have increased the frequency of disinfecting high-traffic surfaces which includes countertops, teller stations, drive through containers, ATM screens and keypads, pens, restroom surfaces, and door handles.
Hand sanitizer is located and readily available at each teller station and we encourage USCCU employees to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer after each member transaction. Employees have been given the option to wear latex gloves when handling money for an extra layer of safety and precaution.
We encourage all employees, members, and students to follow the CDC guidelines to prevent the spread of any infectious disease. We remind everyone to limit face and mouth touching and support the elimination of friendly social greetings such as hugs and handshakes.
All employees have been instructed to stay home and follow the proper protocols should they start to show symptoms of the infectious disease, the flu, and even the common cold.
