Student Run Branch

My USCCU

School has let out for the summer, which means members will start seeing a lot of new faces in the branches. These new employees are part of our Student Run Branch program at both Hillsboro and McGavock High Schools. Each year we begin the summers by training the students and letting them work in the branches so that when school starts in the fall they will be ready to serve their fellow students.

This past Tuesday, US Community Credit Union had our Student and Parents kick off dinner for this year's student employees. This dinner is a great way for Students and Parents to get to know the credit union staff and the teachers who help facilitate the program at the schools. After the dinner, everyone was taken on a tour of the McGavock Branch so they get an idea of where they will be in the fall.

We are excited to start working with these student employees, and can't wait to see how much they learn over the next year.
